Koninklijke Haagsche Golf & Country Club

Welcome to the website of the Royal Haagsche Golf & Country Club

The Royal Haagsche Golf & Country Club (the “Haagsche”) was founded in 1893 in The Hague and moved to its current location in Wassenaar shortly after the 2nd World War. It is the oldest golf club in The Netherlands and, arguably, its finest situated as it is in a beautiful, undulating, exposed coastal dune landscape. The Haagsche is ranked amongst the finest golf courses in the world.

The Club has a very fine Club House recently extensively refurbished following a fire. Full restaurant facilities are available. Further, the Club provides ample parking space and changing room facilities together with driving range and practice facilities, a Pro-shop and tennis courts.

The first Dutch Open was held at the original Haagsche GC in 1912 and from 1949 to 1981 was regularly held at the Club’s present location. While remaining a full championship course that regularly hosts National and Regional amateur events, the Club has insufficient space available to accommodate the needs of contemporary professional championships.

The Club hosts the Van Lanschot Senior Open June 2011.
